Your puppy's first home is with us in Utah. If your home is farther away, we can talk through a personal, carefully confirmed way to bring the two of you together.
Travel availability and cost are confirmed individually. No route is guaranteed before we agree on the details in writing.
Where we're based
Utah is home. Distance is a conversation, not a surprise.
Crowned Schnauzers is based in Utah. Our dogs live in our home with our family, and puppies are raised around children. We work with prospective families outside Utah, but we do not treat a puppy like a parcel to be ordered and shipped without a conversation.
Before a family moves forward, we arrange a live video call. You can meet us, see the puppy in real time, ask about the parents and health records, and talk through your location. If there is a good match, we decide together whether local pickup, a person accompanying the puppy in the cabin, a fly-in visit, or professional ground transport is practical for that specific puppy and route.
We cannot promise that every airport, state, date, or mode of travel will be available. Puppy readiness, destination requirements, airline rules, weather, schedules, and a transporter's availability all matter.

What happens before your puppy travels?

Tell us about your home and location.
Join the waitlist and describe your timing, household, preferences, and city or nearest practical airport. This starts a personal conversation; it does not reserve a flight or guarantee a particular puppy.

Meet us and the puppy live.
On a live video call, you can see the puppy in real time and ask about personality, the parents, home life, testing, the vet visit, and what you would need to prepare. We want you to know who you're talking to before you make a decision.

Choose a route only after a real plan exists.
We discuss available travel methods, an approximate timeline, who will accompany or hand off the puppy, your meeting point, and a separate travel quote. Please do not buy your own ticket or hire a transporter until the plan is confirmed with us.

Confirm readiness and records.
The puppy's age and health come first. Before homing, Crowned says puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, a veterinary wellness examination, and a microchip. We review the actual travel requirements for the destination and carrier before departure.

Get handoff details in writing.
We confirm the itinerary or pickup plan, contact information, location, timing, fee, and records before anyone travels. At the handoff, you receive the puppy and the applicable health and vaccination information; any required travel paperwork is handled for the agreed route.

What goes home with your puppy?
A transport plan is only complete when you know what information you will receive and what the destination requires. Crowned's stated puppy care includes a veterinary wellness examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, and health and vaccination records. Ask us to review the records with you during planning and keep copies available at handoff.
Depending on the destination and method of travel, an airline or receiving state may require additional documentation, such as a recent health certificate. That is not the same as a routine wellness visit, and requirements can change. We check the actual destination and carrier rules for the trip rather than saying one packet works everywhere.
Confirm these before travel

- Written itinerary, handoff contacts, meeting point, and travel fee
- Any registration or contract documents applicable to your puppy's agreement
Ask which papers will physically accompany the puppy and which will be sent to you securely in advance.
The puppy before the trip
Travel should fit the puppy, not the other way around.
Attractive flight dates and short routes are convenient for people, but the puppy's readiness matters more. We discuss age, veterinary wellness, route conditions, and the handoff before setting travel in motion. If a plan is not appropriate, the answer may be to wait or choose another arrangement.
There is no blanket “we ship everywhere” promise here. Some routes may be impractical. We would rather tell you that clearly than create a rushed handoff.

Before you plan the journey
Do I have to live in Utah to inquire?
No. Tell us where you live when you join the waitlist. We can talk through whether there is a practical, appropriate route from Utah for a particular puppy.
Can I see the puppy before committing?
Yes. Crowned arranges a live video call so you can meet us, see your puppy in real time, and ask questions before moving forward. Ask about anything that would affect your decision—including the parents, records, temperament, and handoff.
Is a flight nanny the same as shipping a puppy alone?
No. In the option described here, a person accompanies the puppy in the aircraft cabin and meets you at the destination airport. It is subject to the airline's pet rules, an available nanny, and a confirmed itinerary. We do not promise a flight nanny on every route.
Can I pick my puppy up at an airport?
Possibly. If you fly to Utah, ask us about an airport handoff. If a flight nanny accompanies the puppy, a destination-airport handoff may be part of that confirmed plan. The airport, meeting point, and timing are agreed on before travel—not assumed from a website page.
What does transport cost?
There is no honest one-price answer before a route, date, and method are chosen. Travel charges are quoted individually and are separate from the puppy price unless the written agreement says otherwise. Ask for the full amount before booking anything.
Are there requirements to cross state lines?
Sometimes. The receiving state may require a health certificate, vaccination record, or another step; airlines may have their own pet rules. We check the specific destination and carrier with you. Do not assume that a standard vet wellness note satisfies a formal travel-certificate requirement.
