Health testing is not one test.

A DNA screen, a cardiac exam, an ophthalmologist evaluation, a puppy wellness check, and routine veterinary care each answer different questions. AKC Terrier Group health-testing requirements lists cardiac and ophthalmologist evaluations for the breed; AKC breed-specific DNA testing recommendations separately lists DNA tests. Crowned says its parents receive Embark screening and puppies receive a pre-homing vet exam and age-appropriate vaccinations. We have not reviewed individual results or separate cardiac and eye records, so we do not claim more than that. Ask for the documents and discuss them with your own veterinarian.
